Subject: Welcome to League of Women Voter of Greater Tucson
From: League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson

Good Morning,

We are emailing you because you have joined LWV in the past few months.  Your membership is recorded in LWVAZ (Arizona State League) and not in the LWV of Greater Tucson. This may be an error and you intended to join the League of Greater Tucson.

If that is the case and you wish to to have a membership in Greater Tucson, please email membership@lwvtucson.com and we will initiate the process to transfer your membership to LWVGT.

Below is a copy of This Week in Greater Tucson the weekly newsletter of our activities.  We welcome your participation.

Welcome to the League of Women Voters.

Now in its 18th year, Running & Winning is a non-partisan workshop for high school junior and senior girls that is coordinated and presented by the LWVGT with AAUW Tucson. Its mission is to encourage young women to consider running for elected office and discover leadership capabilities in themselves.  This workshop will expose the high school students to women elected officials and women currently running for office from Arizona.

Committee members and a committee chair are needed for the project this year to be held at Cholla High School on September 30th. The first committee meeting is set for Friday, July 25 at 5 PM at the LWVGT Conference Room. For additional information and to join the committee please email presidentelect@lwvtucson.com
