Empowering voters and defending democracy in Southern Arizona since 1941

We are a League for ALL

The League of Women Voters is an activist, grassroots organization that believes ALL of us should play a critical role in democracy.
We do not endorse or oppose political candidates or parties at any level of government.
Our advocacy positions are based on the merits of each issue, after careful study and consensus.

From LWV AZ

Food insecurity affects families in every corner of our state, but each of us can play a part in ensuring that no one goes hungry. Here are several ways to get involved:

  • Locate a food bank near you
Visit azfoodbanks.org to search by location or type of service, including “to-go” boxes, served meals, and infant food packages.Once you identify a food bank in your area or one that aligns with your interests, reach out directly to learn about the items that are most in demand and when drop-offs are accepted.

OR Contact:
Community Food Bank of Southern AZ

OR Check Out:
Tucson Love Letter-Food Resources

OR Donate nonperishable food
items at the LWVGT Office-800 N Swan Rd.  The office is staffed 10:30a-12:30pm M-F.  Closed Veteran's Day
