Welcome to the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson (LWVGT)!
In joining the LWVGT, you are helping us accomplish our mission of Empowering Voters and Defending Democracy in Southern Arizona. We are an active League with a lot of great information and opportunities for you to put your passion into action. Below are some important first steps to get involved and learn more.
- A new member packet and nametag will be put in the mail to you very soon!
- The LWVGT has two email newsletters you will be receiving:
- "This Week in Greater Tucson" comes out every Monday and includes upcoming volunteer opportunities, committee meetings, events, and other important information.
- "The Voter" comes out once a month and includes a message from our president, detailed summaries of important events, member spotlights, and other great information.
- As a member of LWVGT, you are also a member of the League of Women Voters of Arizona (LWVAZ) and the national League of Women Voters (LWV). Each of those leagues will send you important information and keep you in the loop about their upcoming events.
